Coastal Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery, originally established in Lymington in 2012. Now based at Palais des Vaches at Lower Exbury Farm — a stunning gallery and events venue overlooking the Beaulieu River - the gallery has become a touchstone for distinctive and unusual contemporary art and design. Working with both emerging and established artists and designers, Coastal Gallery champions painters, printmakers, photographers, ceramicists, and sculptors from across the region and London, each selected for their talent, creativity, and craftsmanship .

The collection is curated by Stewart Mechem and Bev Saunders, who bring decades of experience from the art, design, and fashion worlds. Their instinct for contemporary trends and their ability to source the right artwork for every client underpin the gallery’s distinctive curatorial voice.

Palais des Vaches itself — a magnificent 1920s former milking parlour transformed into a unique gallery and events space by artists Nick and Caroline de Rothschild - provides an inspiring setting for exhibitions throughout the year.
